Please bare in mind that it takes us up to three weeks to produce each stable.
Once cut, they will require at least two coatings of Osmo® oil & wax which needs sufficient time to harden between coats. Whilst we try and maintain a good stock of pre-prepared selection of stables in the most popular tints, fitting doors, windows and mounting onto their chosen bases will require a few days. We will do our best to despatch your order within 14 days or sooner. However, this period may be extended during busy periods such as the lead up to Christmas.
We appreciate that there will be times when this delay won’t be acceptable for those upcoming special events, so we always try and keep a limited range of ‘off the shelf’ stock for those more immediate deliveries. We would advise, however, that you contact us direct to check on our day to day availability as we only update this ‘off the shelf’ list weekly.
All our hand crafted products are made to 1:10 scale.

Our Original stable was the starting point for our company. With its distinctive carry handle built into the roof, and rear pockets allowing for easy access to a loft area. The Stable-house provides ample room for a number of children to play together from all sides. We have tried to build as many doors and windows into it’s design for little hands to explore and play with.
The ground floor accommodates two single stables at each end,with front facing stable doors and long side windows. The double centre doors open inwards to a tack and food store. A ladder is provided as standard with all our Stables, as it’s going to be needed for our imaginary explorers to gain access from the food store via the loft trap door which opens out into the spacious upper house play area.
The stable has been created using quality birch faced ply and all brass finishing's. The whole stable is securely mounted onto it’s birch base which comes as a standard with either a herringbone brick detail or flagstone detail fronting the stable doors.
The underside of the base is fitted with Flotex™ glider pads as standard, helping to protect floors and other surfaces from scratching. Each house has our Grovely Wood ® ‘Acorn-bell’ embossed into the base to prove providence.
The handy carry handle allows grown ups to easily transport the stable, having first popped all those lose toys, accessories and horsy occupants in behind the doors and pockets. (Acts as an ideal repository for tidying away toys at the end of a busy play day).
Although we wouldn't recommend leaving the toy outside for prolonged periods, its great for outside play and will keep its owners pleasantly occupied. Should an occasional light shower catch you unawares, then the tough oil and wax coating of Osmo® should protect the wood from any major damage.
With an extensive range of colours for the roof, side, doors/windows and base, your choice of colour and finish will produce a truly individual item.

The Grovely Wood cow barn was introduced to our range in time for the New Forest Christmas Fair 2014. Having been asked by a very young farmer for a farm building in which he could park his tractor in - we got busy designing an interactive farm building which could accommodate hours of imaginary play! Well we haven’t as yet made a wooden tractor, although we do have plans in the pipeline to make our own version of the ‘little grey Fergie’, but we do have our very own little Land Grover and sure enough its just the right size to be parked in under the barn.
The cow barn has many of the same attributes as our original stable, with the same removable pockets at the back for easy play from both sides - an asset when being shared amongst siblings. The barn also has a trap door, but as its a barn, we felt it should have a nice double trap door in which to hoist those big bales of hay up through. As with our stables, all the doors are hand branded with panel detail and we have carried this across to the two trap doors in the barn.
We have kept a single stable, or as our young farmer informed us a handy ‘bull pen’ - which also has double opening windows to each side. As with our stables, the bull pen also has a white wash detail around the walls to represent kick boarding.
The base for the barn has been embossed with large flagstone detail. More fences can be added to the barn to fully enclose it for when all the farm animals need to be kept in under shelter and our Yard Gate just happens to fit in between the open end section. The cow barn comes supplied with two calf feeder fences and a ladder for access through the trap doors.

Our single barn stable is another recent addition to our product range. With it’s large barn doors to the side, it makes a perfect place to store yard equipment and gain easy access to the loft area above the stable. Again, we couldn’t resist fitting in another little trap door - positioned above the stable area.
We have also introduced double opening windows to the stable end.
As this little building can be played with from both ends we decided to place the roof pocket in the front of the building. This would make an ideal toy to pop in the car for play dates!
